BLACK FOOTNOTES focuses on the lives of four incredible black women of science and math: Dr. Eliza Anne Grier, Dr. Jane Cooke Wright, Dr. Geraldine Pittman Woods, and Dr. Evelyn Boyd Granville. It is told through story, music and dance.
Written by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj, the piece was commisioned by The Ensemble Studio Theatre through their Alfred P. Sloan Grant and workshopped at AMAS. It had it's world premiere at The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, directed and choreographed by Maharaj and produced by Rebel Theater. For more information, click here.
